About Nick
Nick Olive is a young, up and coming race horse trainer already with a strong reputation for training winners. Nick has formal tertiary qualifications in horse management from the University of New England and over fifteen years of experience in the industry. Nick had worked several years in the stud and breeding industry before moving into thoroughbred racing. Previously he has held the stable foreman position for trainers Ken Callaughan and Barbara Joseph. However, in September 2005, Nick fulfilled a childhood dream and established his own stables in Canberra. In that small time he has had success with winners at regional and metropolitan race meetings.
The mix of professional education and wide industry experience, coupled with his passion and dedication for training thoroughbreds is the key to Nick’s striking success rate.
