Quichang Salutes at Goulburn
With two good seconds in two starts this preparation, Quichang put the writing on the wall for his well deserved win in a 1600m Class 1 at Goulburn. On jumping and being caught wide for most of the race he worked onto the pace at the turn. Showing a real appreciation for the big weight drop, Quichang drove through the pack and in a blanket finish closed strongly to win by a neck. Jockey Taylor Lovelock-Wiggins showing maturity and skill beyond his brief race experience. A very gutsy win by a small horse with a big heart.

Neat double Crowns Gundagai
The stable started the new season with a double at Gundagai on Sunday 5 August. Neat Work returned to winning form in the 1400m Open. It was his first start over 1400m and he handled the distance well finishing strongly to win by a length.
True Crown completed the double when he won the 1000m Open very strongly by over 3 lengths in his first start for the stable. It was his first start for over 16 months and he carried the steadier of 60.5Kg on the heavy track but was far too good for his rivals suggesting more wins are in store.
