Davalon Kicks off New Season
DAVALON confirmed his good recent form when he broke through for his first win in a Maiden 1400m at Gundagai. Using his inside barrier he jumped and lead but soon settled just behind the leaders in the running. Richard Bensley started to move him up approaching the turn and he shot to the lead on straighening. He then star gazed down the straight and just held off the swooper to win by a nose.
When Davalon learns to switch on at the finish more wins should be in store.
