Nicks Bio

Nick Olive is a young, progressive Group 1 winning trainer.

A born and bred Canberran, Nick has a passion for horse racing that is unrivalled. Nick has taken out 6 of the last 9 Canberra Trainers Premierships. Also writing his name in the NSW racing scene by taking out the 2009/10 Country Trainers Premiership.

With over 400 individual winners, Nick has the proven talent of places his horses with professionalism and proven success. A very healthy strike rate of 17% in 2015-16 validates this.

 Developing a love for horses from a young age, Nick completed a two year diploma in Horse Management at the University of New England.

 He then worked as Foreman for Ken Callaughan and horse training legend Barbara Joseph for eight years. Nick has also worked at Arrowfield Stud to complete a well-rounded knowledge within the horse racing community.
