After a frustrating run of six consecutive seconds Connections were finally rewarded with a narrow win in the Hair of the Dog cup on the second day of the Snake Gully Cup carnival. The horse powered to the lead at the top of the straight and held off all challengers on the line. Fullerton has been ultra consistent this preparation only finishing out of the placings on one occasion.
