Fullerton pulls off Second City Win

Fullerton had his second city win this preparation when winning a Benchmark 75 1900m at Canterbury.  He travelled nicely just behind the leaders in third place in the running.  Glyn Schofield tracked him up behind the heavily backed favourite approaching the bend and he had gone past it by the 200m.  The favourite fought back to regain the lead at the 100m but Fullerton knuckled down well when he saw the threat and pulled away for a neck win on the line. This was his ninth career win and was a welcome return to the winner's circle after racing without luck at his last three starts.
