Lady Marionette No More a Maiden

Lady Marionette broke through for her first win in a 1200m Maiden at Wagga.  She travelled just behind the leaders and Richard Benslet started moving her up approaching the turn.  She went to the lead in the straight then fought on doggedly the hold off the late swooper to win by a half head.  A very good win by this mare following up from the win of her full brother Rhomlo a week earlier.
