Maid Of Ore Strong at Canberra

Maid Of Ore had a good win in her debut run in a Maiden 1000m at Canberra.  She settled just behind the leaders and on straightening Richard Bensley got her out in clear running.  She took some time to get balanced and was four lengths of them at 150m she then picked up the bit and finished powefully to run out a two lengths winner.  A very promising start for this daughter of Duporth.
