Foroz and Billy Break Through at Wagga

Foroz broke her maiden status and Billy Owen had his first winner since returing to the professional ranks in winning a Maiden 1600m at Wagga.  Billy urged her out of the barriers and kept at her until they got to the lead where she settled nicely.  They took off at 600m and on straightening had them all off the bit, Foroz then finsihed of well to run out a comfortable two lengths winner.  Great to see Billy win after his on his return after a highly successful stint in the picnics.  A special win for long time owner and breeder Callum Beaton who had a fantastic two weeks with four winners.  This filly should appreciate getting out to a longer distance
