Ninky Nonk Tonks Them at Canberra

Ninky Nonk had a brilliant start to his racing career in winning a 2&3YO Maiden 1080m on the Canberra Acton track.  He jumped well and settled outside the leader in the running.  In the straight the two leaders settled down to fight it out, with Ninky Nonk soon headed.  He settled down for the fight and under vigorous urging from Billy Owen he fought back strongly to win by nearly a neck.  A great result for Marty Guenter and family who bred and race the horse.  Onwards and upwards to better things!
