Bring a Secret brings it home again

On Friday the 5th of October the Canberra racing club held the annual Tony Campbell Cup day. Palamedes and Bring a Secret were both able to secure a victory for the stable in two incredible wins.
Palamedes had a tough win in the Maiden Handicap 1200m with stable Jockey Brendan Ward onboard. He jumped well and settled in on the fence about mid field. When they approached the turn he was in an unfortunate position on the fence with not alot of openings clearing up but he managed to weave his way through and break away, fighting on to win by a head.
No doubt the highlight of our day was Bring a Secret and Jeff Penza taking out the TAB Federal Tony Campbell Cup. He jumped and travelled well straight into a prominent position on the fence. He hit the straight and fought on to catch the leader improving with every stride. They hit the post in a nail biting photo finish where he managed to stick his nose out just enough to take the win. This win makes it back to back wins at Canberra for Bring a Secret but not only that its the second year in a row he has won the Tony Campbell Cup.
