Ninky Nonk Goes Back to Back at Canberra

Ninky Nonk had another tough win in a Class 1 1206m at the Canberra Acton Track completing a stable double.  He jumped really well and Billy Owen eased him slightly from the speed charge in front.  He ambled up to the lead approaching the turn but was challenged and headed by the favourite in the straight.  As in his first start, he settled down to the fight and fought back very strongly to win by a length.  This horse showed great toughness in the finishes of both his races and looks promising.
