Polar Star Scores at Gundagai

Polar Star had a tough win in a Class 2 1000m at Gundagai.  From the outside barrier he started well but was posted three wide for the trip on the turning circuit.  On the turn Brendan Ward moved him up and despite a strong challenge from the favourite he fought on well to win by a length.  This was his second win so far this preparation both at very juicy double figure odds.
