All Astern won the Federal Maiden 1200m at Canberra in a very dominant win. From an outside barrier she jumped well, and Willie Pike took her straight to the lead and she was never headed. This 2yo Astern filly bowled along in front, and led her older opponents on a merry chase, to run out a clear winner in very good time.
