Half brothers Party All Night and Wagunda win at Wagga

nick40044

Party All Night won a 1000m Maiden at Wagga on resuming from a long injury enforced break. He settled mid field, and three wide in the running, and Billy Owen started to move him up out wide approaching the turn. He was standing them up eight lengths on straightening, but stormed home to run away with an over two lengths margin. A great result for his patient owners.

Having his first start, Wagunda won a 1200m Maiden at the next Wagga meeting. He jumped well and Billy Owen urged him up to sit outside the leader. In the straight and under very vigorous riding, Billy moved him up and he hit the lead only to be challenged late but hold on in a tight photo. Billy worked very hard for his fee. Nick trained the dam All Giving for a win.
