Howling Victory Goes Back to Back at Nowra and Queanbeyan

nick40044

Howling Victory had a very dominant win in a 1400m Maiden at Nowra. She travelled easily one back behind the leader to the turn. Jeff Penza got her out in the straight and she cruised up to the leaders to continue on and win by six lengths easing down. A welcome change of luck for this filly who had been racing well without luck.

She then went on and had another strong win at Queanbeyan in a Benchmark 50 1600m. She went straight to the front, and cruised along to the turn, where Billy Owen kicked her away to open up a big lead, and she held on to win by two lengths with Billy easing her down.
