Jack The Brumby finally broke through at Sapphire

Jack The Brumby broke his maiden status in a very good win in a 1600m Maiden at Sapphire. In a small field he went straight to the lead and led easily. He was still well clear on straightening, and Billy Owen kept him going to win by four lengths going away. A very welcome win after six seconds from eight starts.
