Kimberley Secrets returned to racing with a very good win in a Class 1 1000m at Canberra. She jumped and led and travelled nicely to the turn. When Brendan Ward asked for an effort, she responded and kicked clear to finish strongly to have nearly three lengths on the line easing down. A welcome return from a long injury break.
In her next start she won comfortably in a Benchmark 58 1000m at Goulburn. Again she jumped well but settled just off and outside the leader. On balancing up in the straight, Brendan Ward worked her forward, where she soon went to the lead to run out a two lengths winner again easing down. A very promising return.
