The well named Miss Manzanilla had a strong first win in her third race start in winning a 1280m Maiden on the Acton track. She couldn’t go the early speed and settled one out and third in the running. In a great ride, apprentice Molly Bourke, started moving her up approaching the turn, and on straightening, she cruised to the lead and ran on strongly under hands and heels to run out two lengths winner.
