Pecuniary Interest in Strong Win at Canberra

Pecuniary had a very strong win in a Benchmark 65 1600m at Canberra. He started well and settled on the rails behind the leader. On the turn he was attempting to work forward and in a good ride Ellen Hennessy squeezed him through a narrow opening along the rails where he balanced and sprinted quickly to the lead to run out a very comfortable winner by one and a half lengths.
