Ready To Humble dead heated for first in a 1200m Open Handicap at Canberra. He jumped with the leaders early, but then settled one back on the rails in the running. Billy Owen showed patience on straightening and a very good inside run presented at the cutaway. He then settled down to fight it our with the leader, to dead heat. This horse had been retired but came back and won second up. This was only Nick’s second deadheat, the first was his second winner over 700 winners ago!
