The Deepest Secret won a Class 1 1300m at Canberra. He jumped well, but Jeff Penza eased him back to mid field to get a position. He travelled sweetly in the second half of the field until he started a move at the 700m. He was a few lengths off them in the straight but finished off strongly to run out a comfortable winner by over two lengths.
