Miss Stalwart lives up to her name

It was a stable veteran, Miss Stalwart, proving too seasoned for her rivals at Canberra today as she returned to the winners circle for the 7th career win. Two seconds in her last two starts, Billy Owen stuck with her this preparation knowing a win wasnt too far away. It proved the winning formula as she stalked the leaders and striked late to grab the win for her happy owners It was her first try at the mile and she seemed to lap it up.
