Wal’s Angel won a 1200m Super Maiden at Moruya. He was a little tardy out, but showed good speed to settle one back on the rails, where he cruised comfortably to the turn. The leader fanned on the turn, to present Nick Heyward a dream run through on the rails. He then fought on strongly to hold of the sweepers to win by a half length.
