Sly Song Wins at Canberra

nick40044

Having her fourth start for the stable, Sly Song won a 1400m Class 1 at Canberra. She settled mid field one off the fence in the running. Jeff Penza started moving her forward from the 600m and she came wide around the field at the turn, and quickly joined the fray then finished strongly to run out a half length winner. She was backed from double figures to favouritism and raced accordingly.
